Spirit Tour – Glenn Leachman reads the bio of his father blacksmith ‘Jimmie’ Leachman at the June 23 Spirit Walk in Crown cemetery hosted by Puslinch Historical Society. Glenn is wearing his father’s leather blacksmithing apron and horseshoes made by his father are displayed on the tombstone. On the left, Doug Gilmour, centre Bob Rappolt, both descendants of early pioneers. Bob read a bio of his great uncle Otto Rappolt, a stonemason who is also buried in Crown cemetery. This is the fourth annual Spirit Walk held by Puslinch Historical Society and the theme of the walk was tradesmen. Five men were profiled: Jimmie Leachman, Otto Rappolt, and Johann Stein- a cooper, William Graham-a millwright, and Rhoderick McKay-a carpenter. photo submitted
