Northern Lights Canada supports Power of HOPE

Northern Lights Canada (NLC) strives to support the communities it is located in. NLC recently made donations to 18 charities in recognition of the vital impact these organizations make to local communities. Each charity was chosen by an NLC office providing a combined $36,000 to various charities across Ontario.

The Mount Forest Northern Lights Canada office presented a $2,000 cheque to Power of Hope Community Organization for their outstanding work in providing essential items needed by low income families, children and women in crisis. The organization has helped a number of organizations in the community, including women’s shelters, food banks, Women in Crisis, Saint Monica’s House and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Founder of Power of HOPE Community Organization, Penny Jamieson has taken what was once a dream of “helping other people every day” to a reality, NLC officials state.

With a team of employment and rehabilitation specialists, case managers, corporate trainers, and support staff, Northern Lights Canada has been helping individuals and organizations for over 28 years. Officials say the organization’s dedication to helping people reach their potential has garnered a 99.6% client satisfaction rating, working with well over one million people. NLC provides services on behalf of private customers and all levels of government.
