High Tea and High Heels event in Hillsburgh on May 4

High Tea and High Heels is set to take place on May 4 at St. Andrew’s Church here.

With only 100 tickets available, organizers note they the event sells out fast.

Organizers promise a ladies afternoon of high tea with a catered lunch of tea sandwiches, scones and finger desserts that will be catered by The Friendly Chef, butter tarts provided by The Pantry Shelf and Jess For You Cafe, served by members of the local Brownie, Girl Guide and Pathfinder units.

Each guest will receive a gift bag with specialty teas courtesy of Sobeys along with different health and beauty items.

This year, the ladies shopping extravaganza with New to You ladies accessories will be larger than last year.

Featured accessories include gold bracelets, pearl necklaces, and purses from Coach, Jessica Simpson and DKNY – there are even vintage fascinator hats that are perfect for those special summer occasions.

Silent auction “pamper me” ladies gift baskets are filled with items to pamper your body, mind and soul that include spa and dinner certificates, special one of a kind jewelry and don’t forget – you can take home your tea cup and saucer.

Tickets are available for $15 at East Wellington Community Services Rockwood and Erin offices, The Friendly Chef  (98 Main Street, Erin) or at Brighten Up (67 Main Street, Erin).
