New candidates file in Wellington North, Guelph-Eramosa

Voters here will have a choice for mayor in the upcoming municipal election on Oct. 27.

Incumbent Ray Tout will face a challenge for the township’s top political post from incumbent first-term councillor Andy Lennox.

Ward 1 incumbent councillor Dan Yake is also seeking re-election.

Incumbent county councillor Lynda White is also seeking another term as Ward 4 county council representative serving the southern part of the township and a part of Centre Wellington.

Incumbent Ward 3 county councillor Gary Williamson is also seeking re-election for the seat he has held for one term.

New candidate enters

race in Guelph-Eramosa

There is one new candidate on the list of those seeking a seat in the upcoming municipal election in the Township of Guelph-Eramosa.

Kevin Johnson is seeking the Ward 7 county council seat currently held by Don McKay. who is seeking re-election this fall.
