Peter Cash tours with Toronto band for first time in 18 years

On the heels of a very successful 25th Anniversary year in 2013 which saw the band release four albums over the course of 12 months, Skydiggers are pleased to announce the Slow Burnin’ Fire Tour 2014, will hit the stage on May 30, at Dublin Street United Church, 68 Suffolk Street West, Guelph.

The show features the return of co-founder and songwriter/vocalist Peter Cash to the national stage with the band for the first time in 18 years.

Inspired by a reunion at the band’s 25th  Anniversary show at The Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto last October, Cash and co-founders Josh Finlayson and Andy Maize felt the time was right to hit the road together again.

“It was a crazy, inspiring night… it all felt really natural,” says Cash, whose distinctive style powered Skydiggers classics such as I’m Wondering, Feel You Closer and What Do You See?

“We got excited about the idea of playing more shows together…” So now they are – The Slow Burnin’ Fire Tour 2014.

The show begins at 7:30pm and tickets are $30.
