Volunteer Centre breakfast on April 9

In celebration of National Volunteer Week, the Volunteer Centre of Guelph/ Wellington is hosting its ninth annual Time to Give Community Breakfast on volunteering.

The Centre is hoping that members of the public and supporters will join them to celebrate and be inspired by local stories of volunteers making a difference.

 The event features Chief Bryan Larkin, of the Guelph Police Service, who will speak about the connections between volunteerism and community wellbeing.

The event will also include staff and volunteers from local community organizations sharing their stories of how volunteering makes the community more vibrant, healthy and resilient.

“Time to Give” 2014 takes place on April 9 from 7:30am – 10:00am. at The Delta Guelph. Tickets are $50 each or $400 for a table of eight.
