Ed Stewart held a book signing at Ed Stewart’s Equipment on Nov. 27.
Stewart’s book, titled “It’s been a fun ride”, is filled with short stories about his life, family and his business.
“It was fun reminiscing,” said Stewart. “I had a pretty active life.”
Stewart, who is known to many for starting the iconic farm and equipment business at the corner of Wellington Road 124 and Trafalgar Road, also noted he wrote the book to give his friends and family something to remember him by.
The author gave copies of his book to friends and family, and asked in return they make a donation to East Wellington Community Services or the Boyes Family Fundraiser.
Donation boxes were set out on the table for each fundraiser.
Stewart also noted the book wouldn’t have been possible without the help of a few certain people: Karen Dallimore, Bernadette Hardaker and Daniel Crack.
“They made it all possible,” said Stewart.
