Sensational Elora presents a Film On A Plate

Sensational Elora: Festival of the Senses, in partnership with the Gorge Cinema is presenting Haute Cuisine on Nov. 22 at 6pm (movie starts at 6:30pm sharp) at Gorge Cinema, 43 Mill St. W. Cost to attend the latest in the Film-on-a-Plate series is $20, including snacks and drinks.

Haute Cuisine (in French with English sub-titles) is a 2013 film by Christian Vincent starring Catherine Frot.

Based on a true story, the film is a behind-the-scenes peek into the prejudices and obstacles facing a female chef in a male-dominated world of upper echelon kitchens at the French presidential palace. The deadly serious business of food is offset by the craziness of kitchen politics.

There is a special rate of $10 for students under 19.

Tickets are available at the Gorge Cinema, the Creperie and the Mill Street Bakery & Bistro. Tickets may also be ordered online at www.sensationalelora.com.
