GUELPH – The Wellington Catholic District School Board (WCDSB) is seeking input on its proposed calendar for the 2026-27 school year, with a Jan. 12 deadline to share feedback.
The first day of school for all students is set for Sept. 8, 2026.
Schools are set to be closed for winter holidays, from Dec. 21 to Jan. 1, and for March break, from March 15 to 19.
Professional development days for all schools are set for Sept. 2 and 3, Nov. 27, Jan. 30, April 24 and June 30.
PD days in elementary schools are set for Oct. 26, Jan. 29 and June 4.
PD days in high schools are set for Feb. 2 and 3, and June 29.
The last day of school for elementary students is set for June 29.
High school students’ last day is set for June 21, followed by exams from June 22 to 28.
High school students are also set to write exams from Jan. 25 to Feb. 1.
