MOUNT FOREST – A Newfoundland Party, complete with crazy hats and ugly sticks, will be held at the Mount Forest Sportsplex on Jan. 15.
Festivities will begin at 1pm, admission is free, and there is no need to register.
The party is part of the Seniors Centre for Excellence’s Nurturing Our Wisdom workshop series.
Attendees are encouraged to come wearing crazy hats, and be ready to make music with the ugly sticks – Newfoundland instruments made of everyday household and tool shed items.
