MOUNT FOREST – Shoppers Drug Mart opened its latest pharmacy care clinic in Mount Forest on Dec. 5.
“Led by associate-owner Darren Tan and their team of trusted pharmacists, the clinic is open and ready to address some of the Mount Forest community’s most pressing healthcare needs,” Shoppers representative Nikki Hashemian told the Advertiser in an email.
Beyond filling prescriptions, the clinic offers assessment and treatment for a number of common health concerns including UTIs, yeast infections, sprains and strains as well as hay fever, rashes and morning sickness.
“Patients can expect all the comforts and conveniences of a traditional clinic setting – a fully staffed reception desk to help book and manage appointments, a comfortable waiting area, and most importantly, fully equipped examination rooms where they can meet with their trusted Shoppers’ pharmacist to have their health concerns assessed and treated in privacy,” Hashemian wrote.
Patients can walk-in or book an appointment online and the assessment and treatment for qualifying common ailments is free of charge with a valid Ontario health card.
The clinic is located at Shoppers Drug Mart at 445 Main St. N.
The store is open from 8am to 10pm.
