WELLINGTON NORTH – The Township of Wellington North has launched a new Facebook page to stay connected with the community and share township news and information.
The original Township of Wellington North Facebook page was created in 2012, following the internal policies and Facebook policies and procedures of the day.
Since then, both the township’s and Facebook’s procedures and policies have changed. In keeping with those changes, the township has created a new corporate Facebook page.
Wellington North’s original Facebook page is no longer available for the public to view.
The township encourages residents, business owners and community members to follow the new Facebook page, where notifications, news and updates will be posted.

Community members are also encouraged to visit the Township of Wellington North’s official website, wellington-north.com, for news and information.
“As part of our 2024 Strategic Plan, the Township of Wellington North has committed to increasing our efforts in sharing information with the community,” stated Mayor Andy Lennox in a press release.
“We acknowledge that today, multiple forms of media are necessary to deliver our information and updates to our residents.
“With the launch of the township’s new Facebook page, this will allow us to continue engaging with our residents and bringing them information about our programs, services, and news.
“We hope everyone will follow our new Facebook page to stay up to date on the Township of Wellington North.”
