MINTO – The Seniors’ Centre for Excellence hosts monthly dining events in Palmerston, Clifford and Harriston.
This month the events will take place at James Street United Church (215 James St., Palmerston) on Aug. 20 at 12pm and Knox United Church (11 Alan St. E., Clifford) on Aug. 27 at 12pm.
Doors open at 11:30.
There will not be a dining event in Harriston this month, but there will be one on Sept. 10 at Harriston United Church. Each event costs $20 and includes a home-cooked meal, dessert, coffee or tea and a guest speaker.
In Harriston, this month the guest speaker will be Mike McGill, who will give a presentation about the Wellington County Museum and Archives.
In Clifford Nelda and Johanna will offer a presentation titled “You Grew Up Where?”
