Puslinch going all out for Canada Day

Optimist Club brings Canadian pride to community

ABERFOYLE – With a groundswell of Canadian nationalism sweeping the county, Canada Day celebrations in Aberfoyle are likely to be awash in Canadian flags.

And the Optimist Club of Puslinch is pulling out all the stops to offer another celebration of Canadian pride and community engagement.

The day starts at the Puslinch Community Centre with the club’s famous pancake breakfast.

Breakfast includes eggs, bacon, juice, coffee, and pancakes with maple syrup.

There will also be cake to celebrate Canada’s 158th birthday.

Then, beginning at dusk, visitors can return for a fantastic fireworks display.

This will be on the grounds behind the community centre.

All food and entertainment is free but donations are gratefully accepted.
