It has been seven years since an Aussie team has  visited Milverton.

Milverton, once known as the Biggest Little Softball Town in Canada, was home to former head coach of the Steelers, Bob Harrow.

He was actively involved with women’s softball in Milverton, coaching both the Milverton Suns and Mil-Dor Twins, before moving to Australia.

Both his sons, Laing and Mike, were on the national team at some point in their softball careers.

Laing himself went on to coach both the men’s and women’s national teams.

Now, Laing’s son Matt is a current team member.
