115 blood donors needed in Fergus clinic on Nov. 21
Canadian Blood Services is asking Fergus blood donors to roll up their sleeves on Nov. 21.
A total of 115 blood donations are needed at the local clinic that day to ensure local patients receive the blood they need.
Every minute of every day, a patient in Canada needs blood.
Donors are needed to continue to answer the call for blood every day throughout the fall.
Given its short shelf life, the need for blood is continual - cancer patients, accident victims, and people with blood disorders rely on blood transfusions every day.
Canadian Blood Services hopes existing donors will continue to give as much as they can, but new donors are critical to meeting Canada’s future blood needs. Book an appointment to donate now and bring your friends and family with you.
The Fergus clinic on Nov, 21 is at the Centre Wellington Community Complex from 2pm to 8pm.
