Woman sent to hospital after serious crash in Minto
MINTO - A Brussels woman has been sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious crash between a car and transport trailer.
On May 15, at about 11:30am, emergency crews responded to the collision on Wellington Road 6 and 12th Line in Minto.
Wellington County OPP officials offered few details on the crash.
"The driver of the sedan, a 74-year-old female from Brussels, was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries," police stated in a press release.
The cause of the collision is being investigated and police expected the road to remain closed "through the evening rush hour."
