Woman fled from police
PUSLINCH – A Puslinch woman faces three charges after fleeing from police officers responding to a complaint about a possibly-impaired driver.
Wellington County OPP officials say officers responded to a complaint on June 15 at about 1:40pm.
“Officers quickly attended to the area, located the motor vehicle in question, and performed a traffic stop on Brock Road South within Puslinch Township to investigate,” police stated in a press release.
“During the initial interaction, the driver became uncooperative with police and then fled the area. The investigation continued.”
Two days later, a 40-year-old Puslinch woman was charged with: flight from a peace officer, dangerous driving and failure or refusal to comply with a demand for a breath sample. She is to appear in Guelph court on Sept. 11.
