Wellington OPP investigating series of thefts in Drayton

MAPLETON – On the morning of Aug. 21, 2021, police responded to a number of thefts in the town of Drayton.

Someone entered utility trailers, vehicles and garages, both secured and not, and made off with thousands of dollars in tools and construction equipment. The thefts occurred throughout the night.

Police have released a surveillance photo of a person of interest.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
