Wellington North senior dies in three-vehicle crash
WELLINGTON NORTH – A local senior died in a three-vehicle crash here on the weekend.
Emergency crews responded to the collision, on Highway 6 near Sideroad 9, between Arthur and Kenilworth, on May 27 at about 2:30pm.
Wellington County OPP officials say a passenger vehicle, pickup truck and an SUV collided.
"The driver of the passenger vehicle, an 86-year-old of Wellington North Township, was transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased," police stated in a press release.
"Three other people involved in the collision were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries."
