On Feb. 9 Wellington North Mayor Andy Lennox (left) and Fire Chief Wellington North Fire Services Dave Guilbault (right) congratulated retiring officers from the Mount Forest station Ed White (1992-2014), Keith Rawn (1994-2014) and Mount Forest fire station chief Ron MacEachern (1969-2014). Mayor Lennox said these years of service are very worthy of recognition. “It is not only your service but a family committment as well. Being called out at all hours of the day and night affects your family as well. I have the greatest respect for the role you guys play in the community. Often you tend to see us at our worst, when things are not going the way they should. That is when we see you at your best.” Lennox added “Thanks is not enough but we offer what thanks we can.” Guilbault commented “As your chief I am very proud of what you have acommplished.
