Wellington North appoints new building inspector
Wellington North has hired a new building inspector.
On May 12 the township issued a press release stating Mayor Andy Lennox and members of council “are pleased to announce the appointment of Kristen Bickers” as building inspector, bylaw enforcement officer and property standards officer.
Bickers, who was appointed at the May 11 council meeting, is an Arthur resident with previous experience with West Perth, North Perth and Township of Perth East. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Property Standards Officers (OAPSO) and currently sits on the board.
“Bickers’ knowledge and expertise will serve to enhance the [building department],” stated the press release.
