MOUNT FOREST – The Wellington Heights Girls Ice Hockey team finished its season on Feb. 27 with an exciting playoff game in Shelburne.

The Wolverines finished in third place after regular season play this year, with four wins, four losses and four ties.

In the playoffs, Wellington Heights played Norwell DSS in Palmerston on Feb. 25 in the semi-finals, winning 3-2.

The Wolverines advanced to the District 4 finals on Feb. 27 in Shelburne, and played an excellent game against Centre Dufferin District High School, but ultimately lost 2-0.
