This weekend, the Rockwood RBC Royal Bank has coordinated three events to help fill the East Wellington Community Services food bank’s shelves.
Agency staff will be on hand to answer questions related to the food bank or other programs, plus Rockwood community members from Rockwood RBC, Foodland and the Guelph-Eramosa fire department.
On Sept. 26 firefighters will be at RBC promoting the food drive from 11am to 2pm.
On Sept. 27, the RBC and fire department will be at Foodland for a barbecue and food collection from 11am to 2pm.
Sept. 28 marks a ‘Stuff the Truck’ event as firefighters drive through the south end of Rockwood in the fire truck with the horn sounding to alert people of the food collection.
They will also be selling 50/50 tickets at all three events. The draw takes place at the Rockwood firefighters open house on Oct. 4.
