Walk for Memories fundraiser is Jan. 27
January is Alzheimer Awareness Month across Canada.
The Alzheimer Society of Guelph-Wellington is hosting its annual Walk for Memories, presented by Your Neighbourhood Credit Union, on Jan. 27 inside the Old Quebec Street Shoppes and Office Suites in Guelph.
Registration for the walk begins at 9am.
The event includes entertainment, refreshments and fun activities for everyone. There are many prizes to be won.
A Walk for Memories will also be held inside the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex on Jan. 27 beginning at 9:30am. All proceeds from these two events will go to the Alzeimer Society of Guelph-Wellington to help fund local programs and services.
