Victim Services Wellington invites volunteers to apply
Victims Services Wellington has put out an appeal for volunteers.
“We are looking for mature individuals who can assist victims of crime and tragic circumstances,” officials state. “By using life experience and the training provided by Victim Services, our volunteers assist emergency services by providing short term support.”
The organization specifically encourages retired individuals or those nearing retirement, wishing to give back to, or become more involved in their community to apply.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, cell phone and email.
