Vehicle runs into pedestrian, library

On May 16 at about 2:30pm emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle collision at MacDonald Square in Elora. Wellington County OPP officials say the driver of a white sedan lost and the vehicle struck a pedestrian “before coming to rest against” the post office building. Police say a 67-year-old female pedestrian from Elora was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver, an 84-year-old woman from Elora, was transported to hospital as a precaution.
