Upper Grand District School Board principal appointments and transfers
The Upper Grand District School Board recently announced a number of principal and vice-principal transfers and appointments, effective Sept. 1, including several affecting Wellington County schools:
- Norwell District Secondary School principal Scot Bishop is being transferred to Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute. Paul Richards, currently vice-principal at Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute has been appointed principal at Norwell.
Vice-principal transfers to take effect in the fall include:
- Pam Eurig, currently vice-principal at Centre Wellington District High School moving to Orangeville District Secondary School; and
- Bob Scott is moving from Westside Secondary School to Centre Wellington.
Principal transfers at the elementary school level include:
- Karen Sims from Westwood Public School to Victoria Cross Public School in Mount Forest;
- Sue Guest from Aberfoyle Public School to Rickson Ridge Public School;
- Anita Lagundzija-deFreitas from Ross R. MacKay Public School to Credit Meadows Elementary; and
- Katherine Creery from Rockwood Centennial Public School to the position of school effectiveness/new teacher induction program lead.
Nancy Mundle, currently vice-principal at Arthur Public School will become principal at Kenilworth Public School.
Gaillian Muir will move from the position of vice-principal at J. D. Hogarth Public School and new teacher induction program lead to become principal at East Garafraxa Public School.
Paul Huddleston, vice-principal at Centennial Hyland Elementary School has been appointed principal at Ross R. MacKay.
Lisa Doering, vice-principal at Ken Danby Public School has been appointed acting principal at Rockwood Centennial.
Vice-principal Hanna Morris will transfer from Erin Public School to Waverley Drive Public School.
Laura Cozzarin, vice-principal at Minto-Clifford Central Public School will move to Arthur Public School.
Nicole Hamilton, a teacher at Eramosa Public School has been appointed temporary vice-principal at Erin Public School.
Mark Turner, a teacher at Elora Public School has been appointed vice-principal at Minto Clifford.
Dianna Secord, a teacher at Ross R. MacKay has been appointed temporary vice-principal at Montgomery Village Public School.
