UGDSB students to compete in skills competition
On April 8, more than 1,000 Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) Grade 4 to 8 students will participate in the regional Elementary Skills Competition.
This year, 268 teams will participate in events that include Lego robotics, construction, character animation, TV/video and health and safety. The events will be held in in Guelph at College Heights Secondary School, Centennial CVI and the Centennial Arena. Competition runs from 10am to 3pm.
Winning teams at the regional competition will head to the Skills Ontario finals on May 2.
