Two charged in separate ‘partner violence’ incidents
MAPLETON – On April 1, Wellington County OPP officers responded to an address in Mapleton and initiated an intimate partner violence investigation.
A 62-year-old Woolwich Township resident was charged with sexual assault, sexual assault causing bodily harm and two counts of criminal harassment.
The accused is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.

MAPLETON – On March 20 Wellington County OPP officers responded to an address in Mapleton and initiated an intimate partner violence investigation.
A 34-year-old Mississauga resident was charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
Police say “victims of sexual assault and intimate partner violence are not alone. ... One organization you can contact is Victim Services Wellington. If you are in immediate crisis, dial 911.”
