Two arrested for public sex

GUELPH – A Guelph man and woman have been arrested after a couple was recorded having sex earlier this month in a crowded public area.

Guelph Police officials say that on Sept. 17 at about 6:50pm police were notified by an employee of a downtown business about an incident outside the business near Wyndham Street North and Quebec Street.

“Also Tuesday, a short video of the act was posted on X before being removed a short time later,” police stated in a press release.

“A Guelph Police Service officer viewed a different video and was able to identify the involved parties. On Wednesday morning a 28-year-old man and 27-year-old woman, both from Guelph, were arrested for committing an indecent act. “They were released with November court dates.”
