Turf maintenance tenders approved

Council here approved grass cutting tenders recommended by its recreation committee for Arthur and Mount Forest.

Council approved the turf maintenance contracts at its meeting April 22.

In Mount Forest, Terry Martin TLC was chosen at a price of $1,118 per cut and JJ Lawncare was chosen for Arthur with a contract of $790.50 per cut.

The work will be as required by the township.

In its 2013 budget, the township has set aside $30,000 for maintenance in Mount Forest and $12,650 for maintenance in Arthur.
