Tree talker paid
Council here has agreed with its tree committee recommendation to provide appreciation to Toni Ellis, from NeighbourWoods, a branch of the Elora Centre for Environmental Excellence for her presentation in Clifford on Feb. 11.
Further, the committee asked that a gratuity of $50 be provided to Ellis.
Deputy-mayor Judy Dirksen noted that discussion was referred to during a presentation by the town’s tree committee earlier in the evening.
The recommendation carried without further discussion.
