Township water crews responding to frozen water services
The Centre Wellington Water Department has been responding to a large number of frozen water services to homes and businesses in the municipality.
With the extremely cold weather this winter, the frost has penetrated much deeper into the ground compared to typical winters. 20 frozen water services have been reported to the township in the last three weeks.
The last time the Fergus and Elora area experienced a similar number of frozen water services was the winter of 1993/94.
