Township strikes several committees

Centre Wellington council has named several of its committees for the coming term of office.

The announcement came in the committee of the whole on March 14, after a closed session.

Council approved the following committee members:

- committee of adjustment, Sandy Cleghorn, Patricia Drimmie, John Gamble, Cornelius Bultena, and Kathy Baranski as the citizen appointees;

- Heritage Centre Wellington, Kathy Baranski, Eleanor Smith, Don Fraser, David Beynon, Graeme Chalmers, Steven Wright, and Nicholas Brown;

- property standards, for the term of council, Robert Ustrzycki, Patricia Piitz, and Steve Wright; and

- parks and recreation committee Karen Walsh, Edward Starkey, Barb Stewart-Schieck,  Scott Henderson, Ian Rice, and Connor Maitland.

Council voted unanimously to make those appointments.
