The Guelph-Eramosa planning department has begun a comprehensive review of the township’s zoning bylaw.

“Our motivations for doing the review are to bring our zoning bylaw in compliance with the updating provincial legislation and policy updates at the county,” planning associate Kelsey Lang said at the April 7 council meeting.

The township will hold two open houses this month to present basic information to the public and identify concerns. These open houses will take place on May 11 at Rockmosa Community Centre from 7 to  9pm and on May 14 at Marden Community Centre from 7 to  9pm.

In September there will be two more open houses to present the first draft of the new bylaw.
