A public meeting about changing several street names in Erin has been deferred.
Originally scheduled for Jan. 15, the meeting will now be held on Jan. 29 at 7:30pm.
The name changes came about because of confusion resulting from several duplicate street names in the town - especially for emergency services.
Several municipalities in the county have had to changes street names as a result of duplications that were caused by amalgamation in 1999.
Town planner Sally Stull requested the later meeting because staff needed more time to prepare, considering the holidays.
