The Grand Valley Lions Polar Bear Dip raises $5,337 for Grand Valley Food Bank
Chilly dip – Fourty-eight people took a chilly dip to start off the new year. The Grand Valley Lions Polar Bear Dip raised $5,337 for the Grand Valley Food Bank and over 200 spectators donated around 300 pounds of food. Attridge Transportation provided two buses for the dippers for changing into warm clothing. Attridge Transportation provided two buses for the dippers for changing into warm clothing. Lions  Club members John Ince and Jim Shaw presented a cheque to Verena Tupling, accompanied by Chase Rogers.

Rogers raised $2,520 in pledges and won a $100 gift certificate to the Mill Creek Pub.
