Teen hit by car then charged
GUELPH – A teenage girl got hit by a car and handed a ticket last week.
At about 9:20am on April 15, emergency services received a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at Victoria Road North and Eastview Road.
“A 17-year-old Guelph girl was transported to hospital for treatment of a minor head injury,” Guelph Police stated in a press release.
She was charged with disobeying a “don’t walk” signal.
