Sunrise’s Hoofbeat Challenge raise more than $14,000

PUSLINCH – The annual Sunrise Therapeutic Riding and Learning Centre Hoofbeat Challenge Fundraiser took place on Sept. 28, sponsored by Coffey Creek Farm and supported by the Puslinch Optimist Club with their food truck and Aberfoyle Tim Hortons.

Despite the challenging weather, dog walkers, hikers and horse riders enjoyed the well-groomed trails on five farms.

Organizers expressed appreciation to the Sunrise neighbours who opened up their land for the event.

The Sunrise Life Skills participants baked cookies, in addition to parents and volunteers bringing a huge variety of baked goods to raise funds for the many Sunrise programs.

More than $14,000 was raised, which will support the continuing work of Sunrise with children and adults with disabilities in local communities.
