Sunrise hosts car rally Oct. 3

PUSLINCH – Sunrise Therapeutic Riding and Learning Centre is hosting a “Mystery Car Rally” fundraising event, a new event created to raise funds for the centre.

The event will run Oct. 3 at 2pm rain or shine. The rally begins at the start of the Sunrise Farm. There will be several fun activities built into the event as part of the mystery.

The fundraising event will be run in safe “family bubbles.”

“We were trying to find something we could run in COVID because it could be run in family bubbles so you could stay in your car,” founder and board president Ann Caine explained.

Collect pledges from your friends and family and drive the mystery route—not a race! Prizes will be handed out for highest pledges, quiz winners and more.

Free family photos with or without a horse will also be available.

The event is located at Sunrise Farm, 6920 Concession 1, Puslinch. All funds raised will go towards supporting the Sunrise program for adults and children with special needs.
