Students were learning the slopes at St. Mary's Catholic School
Learning the slopes – Grade 7 and 8 students from St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Fergus visited St. Mary’s Catholic School in Elora on Jan. 31 for a day of experiential education. Students from both schools worked in teams to build toboggans from materials and plans they were given and then headed to the slopes behind the school to test out their creations. Toboggans were assessed for speed and distance travelled. St. Mary’s students Alex, left, and Chris were among those enjoying the experience. Photos by Duncan Hossack
