Stop 23 honours donation pledge to Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation

Platinum sponsor – Santa came a little early to the Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation, when foundation development officer Dale Franklin stopped in to see the folks at Stop 23 in Listowel.

Continuing to honour a multi-year pledge to donate $100,000 in total to the foundation, this year’s instalment was expected to be $20,000. After discussing how the 2022 installment was to be used, Stop 23 CEO Scott Davidson decided to bump up this year’s pledge to $25,000 and become the foundation’s first platinum sponsor for the 20th Starlight Gala to be held on May 27. The 2023 event marks the long-awaited return to gala activities.

“We couldn’t be more grateful to see the generous support of one of our longtime and valued sponsors,” said Franklin. Stop 23 is a family-owned auto sales business that has served the Listowel, Stratford, Waterloo, Kitchener, Guelph and Greater Toronto areas for over 40 years.
