Speedside church launching speaker series
GUELPH/ERAMOSA – As an outreach project, Speedside United Church is presenting a series of speakers in the next few weeks.
The first one will take place on Oct. 7 at 7pm and it’s all about the Centre Wellington Food Bank.
A representative from the food bank will make a presentation on operations and the projects they are working on.
The people of Speedside support the food bank, both individually and collectively, but realize there is a growing need for its services in the community, officials state in a press release.
“This is especially true as we enter the fall and winter season,” they say.
There is no admission charge for this presentation, but anyone attending is encouraged to bring a donation for the food bank.
Speedside United Church is located at the corner of Wellington Roads 22 and 29.
