ERIN – Some residents connected to Erin's water system may be without water between 8am and 5pm on Jan. 3.

According to a Jan. 2 press release, the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) will be completing repairs on the town's water system on Wednesday.

The following locations will be affected in Erin village:

  • Main Street, between Ross and Pine streets;
  • Ross Street;
  • Lorne Street;
  • Pine Street;
  • May Street;
  • Daniel Street between Pine and Lorne streets; and
  • Stanley Park.

It's recommended residents affected by the repairs flush their taps for several minutes after 5pm on Jan. 3.

Residents can contact the OCWA at 519-939-8529 with any questions regarding the work, according to the town.
