Six volunteers with 2019 Outstanding New 4-H Ontario Club Leader Awards

ROCKWOOD – 4-H Ontario is excited to announce the six winners of the 2019 Outstanding New 4-H Ontario Club Leader Award, sponsored by Gay Lea Foods Co-operative Ltd.

The Outstanding New 4-H Ontario Club Leader Award recognizes club leaders who have volunteered with 4-H for less than three years and are doing outstanding things for the youth in their clubs.

The 2019 winners are: Aimee Flikweert (Region 1, Manitoulin), Bonnie Bergeron (Region 2, Russell), Cheryl Crowe (Region 3, Kawartha Lakes Haliburton), Todd Radigan (Region 4, Waterloo), Amanda Yule (Region 5, Perth) and Christine Brekelmans (Region 6, Oxford).

“4-H Ontario congratulates all the Outstanding New Club Leader Award recipients,” says Evelyn Chambers, Senior Manager Volunteer & Community Engagement. “These individuals truly exemplify the head, heart, hands and health of the 4-H program.”

This award celebrates volunteers who embody the 4-H pledge and 4-H values. One nomination for the Outstanding New 4-H Ontario Club Leader Award is accepted from each association and one winner is selected from each region. Recipients of this award receive a custom print commissioned by 4-H and sponsored by Gay Lea Foods at their 4-H Association’s Awards Night.
