Serious crash on 124 in former Guelph Township
On Nov. 23 at about 9:30pm Wellington County OPP officers received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Wellington Road 124 between Hillside Drive and Kaine Hill Road in former Guelph Township.
Officers responded along with the Guelph Fire Department and Guelph-Wellington EMS.
Police say a vehicle travelling eastbound on 124 crossed over the centre line and struck a westbound vehicle being operated by a 22-year-old male driver. The driver of the eastbound vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the westbound vehicle was transported by land ambulance to a local hospital then transported by air ambulance to St. Michael’s hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The Ministry of Environment and Fortress Emergency Services attended the scene to clean up vehicle fluids.
Police say charges are pending.
