Centre Wellington – For 15 years Sensational Elora has been giving the people of Centre Wellington a chance to go somewhere different on Thanksgiving Day and taste some super soup during the Sensational Elora Soup Off.

On Oct. 14, 12 people competed for the best soup in Centre Wellington at the Wellington County Museum and Archives, with local potters providing bowls for patrons to purchase.

More than $7,500 was raised at this year’s event. Funds will be divided between the Centre Wellington Food Bank and the breakfast program at the Centre Wellington District High School.
