Seniors Engaged: Website launch
Are you a senior? Are you caring for a senior? Are you a social service agency that works with or provides service to seniors? Attend the launch of www.seniorsengaged.ca, a new on-line resource created by the Volunteer Centre.
The launch will take place May 26, from 10 to 11am at the Evergreen Seniors Community Centre, 683 Woolwich St., Guelph.
The website, seniorsengaged.ca contains a wealth of information on various social services through a searchable online database. Do you need to know how to renew your driver’s license? Are you interested in finding out about in-home supports for a loved one? Perhaps you are newly retired and are looking for meaningful ways to invest your time as a volunteer. Seniorsengaged.ca can help you find what you are looking for. The goal of the website is to ensure seniors in Guelph/Wellington have the information they need to actively engage in their community.
