School break-in

On Aug. 9 at about 6:30pm Wellington County OPP officers responded to a report of two youths inside Ross R. MacKay Public School on Trafalgar Road here.

Police say a security company employee responded to an alarm at the school and while conducting a search, she saw two male youths, one of whom was carrying a baseball bat.

“The male swung the bat in her direction prior to fleeing the school,” police said in a report.

The suspects, who entered the school through a rear door that had glass smashed out, are described as:

– male caucasian, about 14 years old, 5’8”, blonde shoulder length curly hair, spacer earring in left ear, red T-shirt and blue shorts;

– male caucasian, 12 years old, 5 feet tall, brown hair.
